Miami International Airport welcomes back Cartagena service by Avianca Airlines

Source: Miami International Airport With service to nine routes from Miami, including four destinations in Colombia, Avianca served more than 700,000 total passengers at MIA last year Officials from Miami-Dade County and Avianca Airlines celebrated the re-launch of Avianca's daily Cartagena-Miami service on March 28 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Miami International Airport. Cartagena became Avianca's fifth Colombian route and their 10th route overall at MIA. Colombia is the busiest international passenger market for MIA, generating 1.5 million passengers annually. With service to nine routes from Miami, including four destinations in Colombia, Avianca served more than 700,000 total passengers at MIA last year. Avianca joins American Airlines in providing Cartagena-Miami service.
