Austrian Airlines saves food: Start of test run for “Austrian Melangerie to go”

Despite the most exact prediction possible for the demand for fresh dishes on board, the demand cannot always be met exactly. All fresh products that are not consumed must be disposed of after the flight due to hygiene rules. Aviation Capital Group Announces Delivery of One Boeing 737-8 MAX to Icelandair

Alaska Airlines expands Finnair codeshare agreement for deeper global reach

Source: Alaska Airlines Alaska Airlines has announced today a significant codeshare expansion with our European oneworld partner Finnair, the latest in a series of partnership expansions for Alaska since joining the global alliance in March 2021. Beginning now, Finnair passengers can book connecting flights through Seattle – our hometown airport – to more than 60 destinations throughout Alaska's network for travel beginning June 1, 2022. The codeshare flights with Alaska will be identified on Finnair's website and the carrier's other booking platforms. Delta teams safely managing through extensive winter weather

Four customer weather waivers are in effect, covering nearly 70 cities across the Midwest; South Central Plains and Texas; Rocky Mountain region; Northeastern U.S.; and Toronto. As another winter weather system is set to impact nearly half of the continental United States through the remainder of the week, Delta expects to cancel approximately 200 Delta mainline and Delta Connection flights a day on Wednesday and Thursday.
