Delta Air Lines marked its expansion in Panama alongside Tourism Minister Ivan Eskildsen as they welcomed customers arriving on the inaugural flight DL1753 from Delta’s New York (JFK) hub to Panama City (PTY) on Dec. 20.  The celebration featured folkloric dancers and capped the airline’s third inaugural flight in three days. Source: Qatar Airways Qatar Airways has today issued legal proceedings against Airbus in the Technology and Construction division of the High Court in London. We have sadly failed in all our attempts to reach a constructive solution with Airbus in relation to the accelerated surface degradation condition adversely impacting the Airbus A350 aircraft. Qatar Airways has therefore been left with no alternative but to seek a rapid resolution of this dispute via the courts. Qatar Airways currently have 21 A350 aircraft grounded by the condition and the legal proceedings have been commenced to ensure that Airbus will now address our legitimate concerns without further delay. Source: American Airlines Bicycles line the hallways at American’s two pilot training facilities — the result of a friendly competition between team members at the American Airlines Flight Academy and Charlotte Training Center. Each new bike, along with a matching helmet, will be gifted to a child in need. Over the past eight years, American’s pilots and flight training staff donated more than 1,000 bikes to local charities. “We're in the transportation business — what better way to give than to start kids off with their first set of wheels” said Capt.
