Hawaiian Airlines’ Efforts to Support Maui

Source: Hawaiian Airlines Hawaiian Airlines added an additional flight from Kahului to Honolulu to support the ongoing evacuation of displaced visitors and residents. The airlines has also flown its full regular schedule of some 25 roundtrips between Honolulu and Maui this past weekend. Hawaiian transported more than 6,600 people out of Maui  and expects to carry more than 17,000 visitors and residents out of the island in the 72 hours since the fires broke out. The priority has been to keep moving people safely from and within our islands and facilitate the work of federal, state and local agencies. Delta will contribute $250,000 to the American Red Cross in support of Hawaii wildfires disaster response and relief efforts

Donations will go toward immediate relief needs. Delta will contribute $250,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in the disaster response and relief efforts in Maui and other areas of Hawaii coping with the destruction caused by recent wildfires brought on by strong winds as a result of Hurricane Dora, a Category 4 hurricane which passed 300 miles south of the Hawaiian Islands. United to Resume Beijing Flying; Reintroduces Daily Service to Shanghai

Alaska Airlines sends rescue flights & wildfire relief to help people on Maui

Lufthansa Group and Vereinigung Cockpit conclude long-term collective agreement

The union’s members had been asked to approve a proposed new ‘VTV’ collective remuneration agreement and ‘MTV’ collective terms-of-employment agreement for the pilots of Lufthansa Airline and Lufthansa Cargo, who number some 5,200 personnel. The new VTV will remain in effect until at least December 31, 2026, and the new MTV until at least December 31, 2027.
