Azul Reports August 2022 Traffic

Source: Azul Linhas Aéreas Azul S.A., “Azul”, the largest airline in Brazil by departures and number of cities served, announces today its preliminary traffic results for August 2022. Consolidated passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 21.5% compared to August 2021 on a capacity (ASKs) increase of 16.5%, resulting in a load factor of 81.3%, an increase of 3.4 percentage points compared to the same period in 2021. “In August we saw, once again, a robust demand environment in Azul’s network. Booking trends remain strong and average fares continue to be well above 2019 levels and we expect this revenue momentum to continue,” says John Rodgerson, Azul’s CEO.
