JetBlue Pilots Announce Intention to Open Contract Negotiations

Source: ALPA The JetBlue Master Executive Council (MEC) of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) announced to JetBlue Airways management its intention to open contract negotiations 180 days in advance of their collective bargaining agreement’s (CBA’s) July 31, 2022, amendable date. “As we begin to emerge from one of the most difficult times in the history of the commercial aviation industry, JetBlue Airways has demonstrated enormous resilience—thanks in no small part to the efforts of its pilots,” said Capt. Volaris Reports January 2022 Traffic Results: 45% YoY demand growth with an 81% Load Factor

Volaris (the "Company"), the ultra-low-cost airline serving Mexico, the United States, Central and South America reports itsJanuary 2022 preliminary traffic results. Considering the consistent recovery in its markets, Volaris will no longer include comparisons to 2019 performance. In January, Volaris' capacity (measured in ASMs) increased 32.2% YoY, while demand (measured in RPMs) was up a strong 45.4% YoY. This drove a 7.4 pp YoY increase in load factor to 81.3%. In the month, Volaris transported 2.3 million passengers, representing a 48.7% increase YoY. Atlas Air and Flexport Expand Partnership Add Third Boeing 747 Freighter
