TAP will resume flights to Manaus in early November

Source: TAP The Portuguese national carrier now operates 15 routes in Brazil. TAP Air Portugal is resuming flights between Lisbon and Manaus, the capital of the state of Amazonia, in an operation with three weekly flights, with a stop in Belém, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The first flight is scheduled for November 4th. With the return of this flight, the airline is now present in 13 capital cities and has 15 routes in Brazil (13 to Lisbon and two to Porto). WestJet confirms end to AMFA strike

WestJet acknowledges the Minister of Labour’s direction for final binding first contract arbitration with AMFA

Source: WestJet Airline confirms labour action has been avoided and no additional flights will be cancelled WestJet received confirmation that the Minister of Labour has directed the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to assist WestJet and the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) in reaching a first collective agreement.
