ACI Europe condemns decision to go ahead with capacity reduction at Schiphol

Source: ACI Europe ACI EUROPE today condemned the decision by the caretaker Dutch Government to pursue a capacity reduction at Amsterdam Schiphol airport to 452.500 aircraft movement as of Winter 2024, and also expressed concerns regarding the conditions under which a 'temporary' capacity reduction to 460.000 aircraft movement will be implemented as of Summer 2024. Cologne Bonn Airport switches to Neste MY Renewable Diesel in its entire diesel-powered ground fleet

Neste's renewable diesel (also known as HVO100) is made from 100 percent renewable raw materials, and it is in particular used for powering large and heavy vehicles such as the airport’s fire trucks, which are not easy to electrify. In total, switching to Neste MY Renewable Diesel will allow the airport to save almost 3,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2e) annually compared to the use of fossil diesel. Runway Safety Meetings Scheduled at Approximately 90 Airports

ACI-LAC presents the top 10 airports in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2022

At the top of the ranking is Mexico City International Airport "Lic Benito Juarez" (Mexico City), followed by El Dorado International Airport (Bogota). The Mexican terminal ranked first in total passengers and air movements, followed by the Colombian terminal. ADM offers a space for the Commemoration of the Expropriated Owners of Mirabel Airport in Canada’s second largest city
