Source: VINCI Airports Following VINCI Airports and Groupe ADP’s environmental plans, Nuevo Pudahuel has made the first step to assure Santiago Airport, Arturo Merino Benítez, becomes the first in Latin America to incorporate the use of hydrogen in its operations. Along with a group of leading energy companies (Air Liquide, Copec and Colbún), the concessionaire signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to work on a plan to incorporate this carbon-free fuel into the operations of Chile’s main airport. FAA and DOT Award DFW Airport with $35M Grant for New Zero Carbon Electric Central Utility Plant

Record-high travel, full garages expected at MIA this weekend

Source: MIA With passenger traffic at Miami International Airport up 17 percent over the past 30 days compared to the same period pre-pandemic, the airport is projecting its busiest Memorial Day weekend ever. MIA is currently averaging 150,000 passengers per day, compared to 126,000 per day during its record-setting year in 2019. Airbus and Linde to cooperate on hydrogen infrastructure for airports

Source: Airbus Airbus and Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work on the development of hydrogen infrastructure at airports worldwide. The agreement follows a cooperation agreement signed in Singapore in February and covers collaboration on global supply chains for hydrogen, from production to airport storage, including the integration of refuelling into normal ground handling operations.
