MIA says benvenuta to ITA Airways

Source: MIA New Italian national airline launches Miami-Rome service Miami-Dade County and ITA Airways officials hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Miami International Airport on March 1 to celebrate the launch of Rome-Miami service by the new national airline of Italy. ITA Airways is beginning the new service with three weekly roundtrip flights, which will grow to five weekly flights in April and then increase to daily flights in June. Italy was one of MIA's top 20 international markets before the pandemic, generating nearly 400,000 total passengers in 2019. Italy is not currently served by any other airline at MIA. ITA Airways is totally owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and has been active since November 2020.

Travelers can now park, pay and go with MIA Quick Pay

Source: MIA New self-service stations put travelers in the fast lane out of MIA Travelers now have a quicker way home from parking at Miami International Airport with MIA Quick Pay stations, self-service kiosks that allow passengers to pre-pay for their parking inside the garage and zip through the exit lane with license-plate recognition. The Quick Pay stations are now available at the main entrances to both the Dolphin and Flamingo parking garages on the ground, first, and third levels. Travelers now simply take their parking ticket with them when they park and then use the ticket at the Quick Pay station to pay when they return to the garage. MIA plays Cupid as America’s busiest flower gateway
