Source: MIA Airline resumes Miami-Seattle flights after 10-year hiatus On June 16, Alaska Airlines resumed daily Seattle-Miami service for the first time since 2012, making Miami the airline's 100th nonstop destination from its ­­­­­­hometown airport in Seattle and ­­­­giving South Florida residents another travel option to the Pacific Northwest. Swoop begins service to Charlottetown, P.E.I. on June 16 and Moncton, New Brunswick on June 17. Both destinations are new non-stop flights for Edmonton. The two new destinations join existing service to Atlantic Canada that includes Halifax with Swoop and WestJet and St. John’s, Newfoundland with WestJet. Source: Aena Aena raises its traffic estimates for this year to a range between 75% and 85% compared to the figures for 2019. The airports in the Aena network closed the month of May with 22,262,317 passengers, a figure that is 9.6% from pre-pandemic levels.
