Some 30 million passengers travelled through VINCI Airports’ network in Q3 2021, i.e. about twice as many (98% more) than in Q3 2020. Compared to Q3 2019, passenger numbers are down 59%. Last week, the sixth largest US airline took its inaugural flight linking London Gatwick to New York (JFK) with a new, non-stop service. For the second year running, VINCI Airports is hosting the Elektropostal tour, a long tour of France in electric aircraft, which demonstrates the aviation sector's commitment to and progress in the use of less CO2-emitting energy.
