New direct flights to the Caribbean from BORDEAUX Corsair opens a new Bordeaux-Pointe-à-Pitre route from 19 December 2021

Source: As of 19 December 2021, Corsair will be the only airline offering direct flights to Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe from Bordeaux Airport. The airline company aims to strengthen its service to overseas destinations, in particular by developing links between regional airports in Metropolitan France and its overseas territories. At the same time, Corsair is renewing its fleet entirely in an effort to improve its environmental impact. This winter, people in Bordeaux and in the western part of France can head for the islands in the sun. VINCI Airports – Traffic at 30 September 2021

Some 30 million passengers travelled through VINCI Airports’ network in Q3 2021, i.e. about twice as many (98% more) than in Q3 2020. Compared to Q3 2019, passenger numbers are down 59%. In Costa Rica, traffic climbed back to its 2019 level (0.5% higher over the period). T Traffic at airports in the Dominican Republic hovered above its pre-pandemic levels for several weeks.
