VSR700 autonomous take-off and landing capabilities tested at sea

Source: Airbus Airbus Helicopters has begun trialing autonomous take-off and landing capabilities at sea for the VSR700, an unmanned aerial system (UAS) being developed in the frame of the SDAM (Système de drone aérien de la Marine) programme, conducted by the DGA (Direction générale de l’Armement - the French Armament General Directorate) for the French Navy . Trials were conducted using an optionally piloted vehicle (OPV) based on a modified Guimbal Cabri G2 equipped with the autonomous take-off and landing (ATOL) system developed for the VSR700. First Sustainable Aviation Fuel-Powered Fuji Dream Air Flight

The tea-green E175 flew using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for the first time for the airline. FDA has partnered with Euglena, a Tokyo-based company that pioneered the outdoor mass cultivation technology for the microalgae Euglena . SUSTEO is a kind of SAF, which is produced mainly from used cooking oil (UCO) and Euglena. Arajet, New Airline in Caribbean, Orders 20 737 MAX Jets

Source: Boeing  Boeing and Arajet announced the new Caribbean airline has ordered 20 737 MAX airplanes, specifically the high-capacity 737-8-200 model, to deliver low operating costs and expand affordable travel options in the Americas. Airbus partners with Spirit AeroSystems to develop the wings of CityAirbus NextGen
