Airbus publishes agenda for 2022 Annual General Meeting

Source: Airbus Airbus SE has published the agenda for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place on 12 April 2022, with resolutions including the proposed appointment of a new director and the renewal of the Board mandates of Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury and two other directors. One resolution proposes the appointment of Irene Rummelhoff as a non-executive director, replacing Carlos Tavares whose Board mandate expires at the close of the AGM and hasn’t sought re-election. Russians destroy An-225 “Mriya”, it will be restored at the expense of the occupant

Airbus reports share buyback transactions 23-25 February 2022

Source: Airbus Airbus SE reports the following share buyback transactions from 23 to 25 February 2022 under Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (“EU Market Abuse Regulation”). The transactions are part of a share buyback programme that started on 23 February 2022 for the sole purpose of covering Airbus’ long-term incentive plan in shares. The repurchased shares will be redistributed to the beneficiaries of long-term incentive plans according to the relevant plan rules. Embraer Delivered 55 Jets in 4Q21 and 141 total Jets in 2021

American Airlines E175 Fleet Tops 100

Source: Embraer An order for three more E175s from American Airlines has pushed its network fleet total for the 76-seat E-Jet to over 100 aircraft. Deliveries will be completed this year. AA’s Envoy Air subsidiary will operate the E175s. The E175 is immensely popular with North American carriers. The E-Jet can easily be configured in three classes to offer product consistency with larger mainline airplanes. American Eagle’s E175s have 12 First Class, 64 Main Cabin and Main Cabin Extra seats. To date, Embraer has sold over 800 E175s to customers around the world. North American customers account for more 85% of those orders, or over 700 aircraft.

JetBlue orders 30 additional Airbus A220-300, raising its firm order to 100
