Chile’s SKY takes delivery of its first A321neo

Source: Airbus SKY, a Chilean-based low-cost carrier, has taken delivery of its first A321neo leased from Air Lease Corporation (NYSE: AL), becoming the first airline in Chile to operate the A321neo. SKY’s A321neo aircraft are powered by CFM Leap-1A engines and can seat up to 238 passengers in a two-class layout. SKY is the first airline in South America to operate the A321neo with a high density cabin configuration. Embraer Delivers 14 Commercial and 20 Executive Jets in 2Q21

As of June 30, the firm order backlog totaled USD 15.9 billion, a 12% increase compared to the backlog at the end of the first quarter, and which represented a return to pre-pandemic levels. Airbus launches cloud-based pilot training service

Source: Airbus Airbus has launched the Mobile Airbus Training experience (MATe) Suite, a subscription-based service platform with a 3D interactive virtual cockpit environment for pilot recurrent and initial Type Training. Airbus developed MATe with portability and compatibility in mind. Building on the success of the Airbus Cockpit Experience (ACE) Trainer, a virtual and interactive cockpit simulator used in Airbus training centres for Flight Crew Licensing courses, the MATe solution is enabled for any type of I.T device. Airbus joins Canada’s SAF+ Consortium to accelerate the development of a new Sustainable Aviation Fuel technology

Embraer and CommutAir Announce Pool Program Agreement
