ALTA continues to expand the access to professional training within the aviation industry

UK Civil Aviation Authority takes on new noise advisory functions

Source: UK CAA Following the decision by the UK Government to wind-down the Independent Commission on Civil Aviation Noise at the end of September 2021, the Secretary of State for Transport set out that he intended to appoint the CAA to carry out the technical, research and policy advisory functions which had been previously undertaken by ICCAN and where appropriate for the CAA to do so. TSA announces measures to implement gender-neutral screening at its checkpoints

New study confirms CO2 reduction benefits of shifting short-haul flights to rail are limited

One solution that has been proposed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport is a modal shift from air to rail.
