International community achieves progress towards sustainable aviation, net zero carbon emissions

Source: ICAO Recommendations made by the International Civil Aviation Organization's (ICAO) 13th Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) meeting at ICAO Headquarters from 17 to 28 February mark a clear sign of progress towards sustainable aviation. Source: IATA The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for January 2025 global air cargo markets showing: Total demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometers (CTK), rose by 3.2% compared to January 2024 levels (3.6% for international operations) for an 18th consecutive month of growth.
