IATA: Passenger Demand Grows 4% in July

Source: IATA The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for July 2025 global passenger demand with the following highlights: Total demand, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), was up 4.0% compared to July 2024. Total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), was up 4.4% year-on-year. The July load factor was 85.5% (-0.4 ppt compared to July 2024). International demand rose 5.3% compared to July 2024. Capacity was up 5.8% year-on-year, and the load factor was 85.6% (-0.4 ppt compared to July 2024). TAP Air Portugal with net income of 37.5 million in the second quarter
