Viva Aerobus Traffic Report April 2024: Passengers increased 5.7%, reaching an 83.2% Load Factor

Viva Aerobus’ passenger traffic increased 5.7% compared to April 2023, reaching 2.1 million passengers, driven by an increase of 6.7% in domestic traffic, partially offset by a decrease of 3.0% in international traffic. Load factors reached 83.2% compared to 87.4% in 2023, with a load factor mix of 85.2% and 73.8% in domestic and international, respectively. The WestJet Group statement on Encore ratification results

US Air Travel Consumer Report: February 2024 Numbers

Source: US DOT The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) today released its Air Travel Consumer Report (ATCR) on airline operational data compiled for the month of February 2024 for on-time performance, mishandled baggage, and mishandled wheelchairs and scooters. The ATCR is designed to assist consumers with information on the quality of services provided by airlines. Industry Makes Progress to Reduce Baggage Mishandling, New Survey Reveals

Focused on IATA Resolution 753, which requires tracking baggage at acceptance, loading, transfer and arrival, the survey of 155 airlines and 94 airports reveals that: 44% of airlines have fully implemented Resolution 753 and a further 41% are in progress.
