Solar roofing helps SITA cut carbon emissions
Source: SITA SITA, the leading IT provider for the air transport industry, has installed solar roof panels in its Singapore office as part of its continued commitment to reduce its carbon emissions and create more sustainable workplaces. The solution will deliver a 16% reduction on the office’s electricity-related carbon footprint compared to 2021 usage. Research has shown that transitioning to renewable energy can achieve most of the greenhouse gas emissions reduction needed between now and 2050 to keep global warming to the temperature limits set out in the Paris Agreement on climate change.
