Latin American Civil Aviation Commission Secretary praises recently unveiled “European Green Deal”

The Secretary of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission, Jaime Binder, delivered some opening remarks at the workshop titled: “Capacity building for CO2 mitigation from international aviation Africa and Caribbean (CORSIA Africa and Caribbean)”.

On the occasion he stated that Europe shows a way forward with the “European Green Deal”, which seeks to transform the EU into a sustainable economy.

In this context, it was added that the assistance with the implementation of CORSIA in the Caribbean region is an example of the commitment to the environment at a global level.
