- VINCI Airports announces the deployment of a customised new solution to continue to guarantee the optimal quality of its airport pavements. The new airport pavement management solution centralises data for pavement condition monitoring and enables the optimal planning of maintenance work required for airport runways, taxiways and aircraft parking areas.
Thanks to a georeferencing system and advanced analytics, the solution offers data-driven insights into pavement condition and provides a decision-support system for maintenance work. This technology allows VINCI Airports to reinforce its commitment to delivering safe, reliable airport infrastructure, meeting the highest quality and durability standards.
The solution was developed with input from VINCI Airports teams by AgileAssets, a leading global provider of transportation infrastructure asset management software, using AgileAssets’ integrated pavement and maintenance management solution. . Thanks to VINCI Airports’ international presence and its strong network-based innovation, eight airports are already benefiting from the solution’s rapid deployment: Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Belgrade (Serbia), Porto and Faro (Portugal), Salvador (Brazil), Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville (Cambodia), and Kobe (Japan). VINCI Airports’ objective is to expand the use of the solution to three additional airports in the network in 2022, followed by further expansion to the entire network.
