TAP Air Portugal holds its 16th Solidarity Auction on the eSolidar platform, this time to help students of CAL – Conservatório D’Artes de Loures.

CAL is a school inserted in of one of the sectors with the greatest social and economic weaknesses of the municipality of Loures and it allows access to Artistic Specialized Education, regardless of the economic situation of the student. More than teaching music, values are taught in this Conservatory, alongside the promotion of social integration, and human and social development for a better world through art.

The money raised with the auctions reverts to the acquisition of a musical wind instrument, Eufónio, which integrates the musical initiation of children aged 10 to 13 years, corresponding to the 5th, 6th and 7th years of school.

This TAP social responsibility initiative is the result of an already long partnership between the airline and the eSolidar social impact platform, where the auctions of 20 triple airplane seats (Economy Class) will be held from November 23rd to December 3rd.

TAP’s Solidarity Auction is associated with the 3rd edition of Giving Tuesday Portugal, which will take place this year on November 30. TAP has participated since the 1st edition in what is considered the largest global movement of generosity, a global solidarity movement, where all gestures and donations on supporting social causes matter.

This is an incredible opportunity to acquire an exclusive piece of Portuguese aviation and, through this solidarity initiative, help CAL’s students to believe and dream.
