ITA Airways introduces ITA Airways Connect, the new Community on digital platform dedicated to travel agents. Courtesy of ITA Airways Connect, all travel agents will be able to access commercial information about the Company products, services and operational procedures and receive support and useful tips to meet their customers’ requests. Moreover, through the Community, travel agents will also be able to check real-time flight status information, issue ITA Airways tickets and discover Smart Group, the easy-to-use platform that ensures eligible agents real-time fare quotations and speeds up the process of group booking. The Community also provides agents with an easy way to get in touch with the Company for updates on policies and procedures, as well as for dedicated assistance.

Furthermore, travel agents will have the opportunity to sign up for a dedicated newsletter to receive communications on operational updates and commercial initiatives.

For the launch of the Community, the Company invites travel agents to take a break and travel with the new, dedicated fares available for the members of ITA Airways Connect. The offer allows agents to travel with one companion to all ITA Airways domestic, international, and intercontinental destinations at a very special rate. This initiative, available until 30 June 2022 (last date of return), will also allow agents to learn more about ITA Airways products and become ‘Ambassadors’ of the Company at the same time.

To enjoy the offer and book their flight, agents need to register on the ITA Airways Connect. Reservation and ticketing must be made exclusively through dedicated numbers of the local ITA Airways Contact Center.

ITA Airways gets 2022 off to the “best of starts” in terms of punctuality and regularity rates

With 96.1% of flights landing on time and a rating of 99.6% in terms of the regularity of its entire operations, ITA Airways was the first most on-time airline in Europe and the first for flight regularity in the world in January. These rankings were certified by FlightStats, the authoritative independent US company that every month ranks all airlines based on these indicators.

ITA Airways started its flight operations on 15 October 2021 and in less than 100 days since launch it has immediately placed itself at the top of the punctuality and regularity rate charts, delivering a service that met with customer satisfaction. These extremely satisfying results were obtained courtesy of the professionalism and dedication of all ITA Airways employees, who are constantly listening to the opinions of all customers and put their wellbeing at the center of the business.
