  • The opportunity to donate on board is already available on Condor’s long-haul routes (among them to the Americas) and then on the entire route network from November 2022

Condor becomes an official donation partner of the FLY & HELP Foundation, which is committed to building schools in developing countries. From now on, donations can be collected by the airline, which will be donated 1:1 to the educational projects. In this way, the longterm partnership with the founder of the foundation, Reiner Meutsch, receives a new boost in further aid opportunities for Condor within the framework of the ConTribute initiative and the guests on board.

Ralf Teckentrup on the expansion of the partnership: “As Germany’s most popular leisure airline, we have been committed to Reiner Meutsch’s foundation for years. We would like to make a contribution together with our guests. Our guests can donate any amount from one euro on board while purchasing items from our Condor Skyline Café or from our in-flight sales range. It makes us proud to take the idea of the FLY & HELP foundation quite literally and support it above the clouds”.

In addition to a trailer informing guests on board about the new donation opportunity, further details are available in the in-flight entertainment, providing insights into the cooperation and the educational projects that have already been successfully implemented. To date, two schools in Kenya and Namibia have already been financed by donations from Condor. In addition to the construction and restoration of further schools, Condor supports FLY & HELP with special flights to initiated events for the benefit of the foundation.

Reiner Meutsch is pleased: “Condor has been a loyal partner at the side of my foundation for many years! I am very grateful that Condor employees and guests contribute to giving children a better future through education! Through the now even closer cooperation, we will be able to build many more Condor schools for the children of this world!”

The opportunity to donate on board will initially be available on Condor long-haul routes from August 2022 and then on the entire route network from November 2022.
