This summer, TAP is strengthening its offer to destinations in important markets for the airline, such as Brazil and North America.

In Brazil, six flights a week will be added to Recife, for a total of 13 weekly frequencies. For Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro, there will be two more flights a week, for a total of nine and 12 flights a week, respectively.

TAP will also increase its operation between Lisbon and Belém, Brasília, Natal/Maceio, Porto Alegre, Salvador and São Paulo by one flight a week.

By the peak of summer 2024, the airline will be offering 96 flights a week between Portugal and Brazil, 16 more than the 80 weekly flights operated last summer.

For Canada, four more flights a week to Toronto will be added compared to the summer of 2023, bringing the total to 14 flights a week. The offer also increases the number of flights between Lisbon and Montreal, from five to six flights a week.

In the United States, there are now two flights a day to Washington, four more a week than in summer 2023. The offer is also increased from five to six flights a week between Lisbon and San Francisco.

In total, this summer TAP will offer 77 flights a week between Portugal and the United States of America, five more than in the same period last year, and 20 weekly flights to Canada, five more than in the summer of 2023.

As far as the American continent is concerned, TAP will also be flying three times a week between Lisbon and Caracas this summer, with the novelty of one of these weekly flights making a stopover in Funchal, on the outward or return journey, for the convenience of all passengers on this route to or from Madeira.

TAP is also resuming its seasonal operations to popular holiday destinations such as Porto Santo, Alicante, Ibiza, Menorca, Palma de Mallorca, and Naples.

This evolution in the company’s offer is achieved through a combination of a reorganization of the network, optimization of the available fleet and developments in aircraft maintenance and engineering.
