Caribbean Airlines successfully supported increased travel demands between Trinidad and Tobago over the recent Shouter Baptist long weekend and Easter peak period, recording thousands of customers moving seamlessly across the Domestic Airbridge.

Between the last week of March and mid April, the airline carried 36,972 passengers, supported by a carefully planned schedule of 592 flights, which included 84 additional services, representing 6,328 seats introduced to meet heightened demand.

This ensured that customers were able to travel when they needed it most. This flexible approach allowed the airline to respond in real time to travel demand, while maintaining a smooth and reliable operation.

Caribbean Airlines CEO (Ag.) Nirmala Ramai noted: “Our teams worked diligently to anticipate the demand and the operations were also adjusted in real-time. We are pleased to have delivered a smooth experience for our passengers.”

The airline recorded on-time performance of 90%, reflecting a stable and well-managed operation since the start of the peak.

Travel demand remained strong throughout the period, with several days seeing more than 2,000 passengers moving between the islands. The busiest travel day was April 2, when 2,579 passengers were accommodated.

Caribbean Airlines thanks its customers for choosing the airline and remains committed to delivering safe, reliable and efficient service across its network.
