Frontier Airlines Celebrates “Wedding in the Sky”

Source: Frontier Airlines 30,000 Feet Above Ground (Somewhere between Denver and Las Vegas) Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) today celebrated an unforgettable walk down the aisle aboard a Frontier Airlines plane. Erin Bright and Jeff Wareing exchanged vows en route to their official wedding ceremony at Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas. The couple, from Denver, were winners of a one-of-a-kind Wedding in the Sky V.I.P Las Vegas experience. The flight was full of cheerful celebration! A Frontier pilot, who was not working as a crew member aboard the celebratory flight, officiated over the vows. Unsuspecting passengers were treated to the wedding excitement and complimentary refreshments.

Delta, Aero Design Labs testing novel tech to further decrease aircraft emissions

Source: Delta Air Lines Delta is taking another step toward its goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 as it tests novel drag-reduction technology by Aero Design Labs on its 737-800 and 737-900 fleets. By reducing drag, aircraft are more aerodynamic and use less fuel while in flight. The companies' memorandum of understanding includes testing and FAA certification of the technology for Delta's 737-800 aircraft starting in the first quarter of 2023, followed by the B737-900 fleet in the second half of the same year.
