Airports in the Aena network recovered more than 97% of pre-pandemic passenger levels in October

Source: Aena Almost 24 million travellers passed through its facilities 208,817 aircraft were in operation and 90,500 tonnes of cargo were transported  Airports in the Aena network closed October 2022 with 23,981,550 passengers. This figure is 2.9 percentage points from pre-pandemic levels, meaning that 97.1% of the traffic recorded in October 2019 has already been recovered. In addition, 208,817 aircraft were in operation, which is equivalent to a recovery of 99.3% compared to 2019, while 90,517 tonnes of cargo were transported, representing a decrease of 14.5% compared to the same month of 2019. MIA Runway 5K Series lands $30,000 for breast cancer research

Source: MIA Over 2,500 runners hit the runway to benefit the American Cancer Society For only the second time, runners instead of planes took off on the north runway at Miami International Airport on October 29 for the MIA Runway 5K Flight 2022, all with the goal of fundraising for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) campaign.
