Government of Canada invests in safety at airports in the province of Quebec

Pedestrian bridge structure connecting Terminal 1 to LAX people mover station successfully installed

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) announced the successful placement of a fourth pedestrian bridge structure in the Central Terminal Area (CTA) over World Way. The crossing over the roadway will connect the Automated People Mover (APM) Center CTA station to the extension of Terminal 1 once the train system is complete. Avports supports high school graduates aspiring to pursue higher education in aviation

MIA says benvenuta to ITA Airways

Source: MIA New Italian national airline launches Miami-Rome service Miami-Dade County and ITA Airways officials hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Miami International Airport on March 1 to celebrate the launch of Rome-Miami service by the new national airline of Italy. ITA Airways is beginning the new service with three weekly roundtrip flights, which will grow to five weekly flights in April and then increase to daily flights in June. Italy was one of MIA's top 20 international markets before the pandemic, generating nearly 400,000 total passengers in 2019. Italy is not currently served by any other airline at MIA. ITA Airways is totally owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and has been active since November 2020.
