U.S. Airlines’ November 2021 Fuel Use Dips 1.7% from October, Remains 13.2% Lower than Pre-Pandemic November 2019

Source: US DOT The Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released U.S. airlines’ November Fuel Cost and Consumption numbers indicating U.S. scheduled service airlines used 1.25 billion gallons of fuel, 1.7% less fuel than in October and 13.2% less than in pre-pandemic November 2019. Air Travel Consumer Report: October 2021 Numbers

Source: US DOT The U.S. Department of Transportation today released its Air Travel Consumer Report (ATCR) on airline operational data compiled for the month of October 2021 for on-time performance, mishandled baggage, mishandled wheelchairs and scooters, complaints received, and oversales. The ATCR is designed to assist consumers with information on the quality of services provided by airlines. The ATCR and other aviation consumer matters of interest to the public can be found at https://www.transportation.gov/airconsumer. Statement by Ministers Alghabra, Duclos, and Mendicino on non-compliance with public health and air safety requirements on a recent Montréal to Cancun flight

In New Letter to FCC, Chair DeFazio Continues to Express “Deep Reservations” About Scheduled 5G Deployment

Kelowna Flightcraft Pilots Ratify Tentative Agreement on New Contract

Source: ALPA Kelowna Flightcraft (KFC) pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), recently announced they have ratified a tentative agreement with the Company on a four-year contract retroactive to April 2021. With nearly 92 percent of eligible pilots participating, 73 percent voted to ratify the agreement. The pilots will now move forward with contract enhancements on a number of key issues including increasing wages, improved scheduling rules, vacation bidding, and uniform allowances. Capt.
