Source: TAP Company challenges TAP Miles&Go Clients to help people in need TAP is running a charity campaign that challenges TAP Miles&Go Clients to convert their miles into gifts; these gifts will then help us provide a merrier Christmas to children from families in need or at risk - from Lisbon and Porto - supported by CASA Association (Support Center for the Homeless). Running till December 15, the "TAP Donate Miles" charity campaign will convert all donated miles into TAP Store products, which will then be sent to the 68 children that have been selected for the CASA Amiga project. UK Civil Aviation Authority signs post-EU exit air safety agreement with the Federal Air Transport Agency

The FATA is legally assigned as the Civil Aviation Competent Authority in the Russian Federation and the CAA is legally assigned as the Competent Authority in the UK. Austrian Airlines offers more scheduled flights to holiday destinations

Source: Austrian Airlines In the coming summer season, Austrian Airlines will be offering a selection of charter destinations that are currently available via Austrian Holidays as scheduled flights. The destinations Antalya, Catania, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Keflavik and Mykonos, which were part of the domestic airline’s charter program this year, can now be booked as regular Austrian Airlines flights for the summer season 2022 (Palma de Mallorca is already available as a scheduled flight for the winter season 2021/22). Aeromexico Announces Non-stop Service Between Mexico City And Tegucigalpa

FAA Fines Against Unruly Passengers Reach $1M

Source: US FAA The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed another $531,545 in civil penalties against 34 airline passengers for alleged unruly behavior, bringing the total for 2021 to more than $1 million. Since Jan. 1, 2021, the FAA has received approximately 3,889 reports of unruly behavior by passengers, including about 2,867 reports of passengers refusing to comply with the federal facemask mandate. Today’s fines are part of the agency’s Zero Tolerance campaign against unruly passenger behavior. Earlier in August, the FAA sent a letter (PDF) to airports requesting they coordinate more closely with local law enforcement to prosecute egregious cases. Aeromexico announces nonnstop service between Cancun and São Paulo

FAA Launches Campaign to Encourage Air Traffic Controller Applications from Women, Minorities
